Magellan Explorist 100 with modified swivel base mount. Affordable, waterproof design is sealed to IPX-7 specifications (Protected against water immersion - Immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter). One-button access to easy-to-view navigation screens and reliable accuracy to within 3 meters made this my model of choice. The base swivels on both axes to allow for easy repositioning to reduce glare on the display.
